Devil’s Workshop (continuation…)

The devil this summer, in the words of St. Peter is “prowling like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour!” That is why we need “to resist him and be solid in our faith!” How? Don Bosco gave us the sacraments of confession and communion. Guys… summer vacation does not mean that we have also to take vacation in fulfilling our christian duties. How is you Sunday mass? How about your confession? It’s the best way to be energized in our quest for holiness. The Goodnews is that God never grows tired and weary in forgiving us. God bless!

Devil’s Workshop

“Summer is the workshop of the devil!” This is one of the many “little wisdom” I learned when I was still in high school. Our Salesian Priests and Brothers at that time, acting as our teachers, assistants, spiritual guides, friends rolled into one, were never remissed in reminding us to keep ourselves busy during summer because for sure the Devil will work “overtime” just to win souls in his side.

Anung pinagkakaabalahan mo ngayong summer? Haaay naku! Kelan pa kaya tayo matututo… ? Take it from me guys… Dami kang puwedeng gawin: work on your favorite hobbies, siguro you want to learn some skills and talents (music, arts and sports), helping in the house chores, involving yourself in your parish youth activities… or you can even spent some time in front of the computer (wag naman buong araw ha?) posting reflections on your friendster blog! hehehe…

Basta, keep yourself busy… Dont give the devil a chance to catch you offguard doing nothing! Ok ba yon? God bless!

Haaay… naku!
